Perfect process monitoring

For products that are operated manually or with the application of force, the natural simulation of the user is a basic requirement for quality control. With our technology, this can be simulated in real life and the product can be tested in a reproducible manner. For objective data evidence, the system log provides a complete report of forces and movement, while documenting tolerances, operating cycles and service life.

Fully-automatic gap measurement of moving parts

The ACF creates the necessary conditions to enable an automatic measurement by means of a laser sensor. To automatically measure the gap dimension between body and door, even in case of design-based differences, the door must be adaptively and precisely closed with a defined force. In the following step, the gap dimension is measured by a laser. The information gathered is then sent to the next processing station.

Automated ultrasound measurement with constant contact

The ACF ensures constant contact between the ultrasound head and the workpiece. Independent of the workpiece shape, the ACF follows the surface curvature with the desired contact force.

Fully-automated quality test of abrasives

The ACF constantly exerts the same force and compensates fully automatic material removal. As a result, the tool life and removal rate of the grinding disc can be precisely determined. In this process, managing the contact force plays a decisive role.

Fully-automated quality control of keys

Through the feedback of the ACF via the force-path detection, force curve and trigger point of the key are documented. The test simulates manual operator behavior. With the active contact flange, the process is automated and quality control is integrated into the existing process without major time and effort.
